ECSA was well-represented at the EU Digital Future Forum Webinar on October 28, which focused on bridging the talent gap in Europe’s microelectronics industry. The event featured presentations and discussions led by experts from academia and industry, including:
- Victoria Cummings, SEMI Europe
- Bernd Deutschmann, IFE – TU Graz
- Dominik Zupan, IFE – TU Graz
- Patrick Cogez, AENEAS Association
- Attila Geczy, Budapest University of Technology and Economics
- Oliver Krammer, Budapest University of Technology and Economics
Topics included strategies for addressing the talent shortage and fostering a skilled workforce capable of driving the future of the semiconductor sector, including the ECS-Academy Summer School that was held in August.
The webinar also highlighted the achievements of our sister project, European Chips Diversity Alliance, which is advancing the development of digital competencies in the semiconductor industry. Together, these initiatives are paving the way for a stronger and more competitive European microelectronics ecosystem.
For those who missed it, the webinar is available to view on-demand.
Thank you to all the speakers and participants for contributing to this forward-looking dialogue. Together, we’re shaping Europe’s digital future!
